The studio table is the latest ambitious addition to the Studio Peake Workshop. A solid honed marble table oval table top, placed upon an polished oak plinth conveys both the grounding solidity and the fluid and dynamic nature of stone.
Originally conceived as a dining table, this piece is versatile and can be used in as many iterations as one might imagine, be it dining, designing or studying.
Studio Peake have a long standing working relationship with master stonemasons Porter. It was an inevitable and natural step that a collaborative product would be created, and the mining of the Breccia Pernice marble provided the perfect opportunity.
The substantial top has been cut into an elegant oval shape and honed to create a smooth yet tactile surface, and is securely attached to the art-deco inspired wooden base.
